Before school started on Thursday, September 11, the SGP Jr. ROTC gathered for a Flag Ceremony honoring the victims, heroes and first responders of the 9/11 terrorist attack on the Twin Towers. Numerous students, parents and faculty were in attendance to pay tribute, including GPISD Superintendent Dr. Gabe Trujillo and SGP Principal Larry Jones. Two yearbook staff members were also present to capture the moment.
My apologies for the sniffles in the video, the moment was a beautiful one and I did my best to hold back my tears.
