Grand Prairie’s Texas Trust CU Theater is more than a concert venue—it’s a community hub for events of every kind. Special Events Manager Michelle Burton gave us an inside look at how the theater can transform to fit any vision: from intimate gatherings of under 2,000 people to massive productions with thousands of guests.

With movable walls, private suites, a VIP club room, and backstage lounges, the theater offers flexibility for holiday parties, corporate retreats, graduations, and conferences. The over 100-foot stage and 6,000 seat theater can host banquets, receptions, or even boxing rings. Outdoors, its 2,500-space parking lot is home to festivals like the Tianyu Chinese Lights Festival.

Texas Trust CU Theater’s in-house catering (led by a Wolfgang Puck-trained chef) makes events even more memorable, though outside food is also allowed for certain rentals. Pricing is custom to each event, and booking ranges from as little as two weeks for small parties to 30+ days for large productions.

What stands out most is the theater’s unique blend of scale and intimacy: big enough for headline acts, but still accessible for local families, schools, and businesses. Grand Prairie doesn’t just host concerts here—it gathers, celebrates, and grows together.
